Age Is Just A Number

As they say ‘age is just a number’. This is absolutely true. Your real age is not tied to the number but to your heart. If you are young at heart then that is actually who you are. However, at times the physical effects are at times not ready to match your heart. Few years ago this used to be an unavoidable problem but not anymore. In the current age and time one can easily slow down the process of aging with the help of anti aging products. The ability of these products is not just limited to slowing the process down, but there are products that can also help you reverse these aging signs, wrinkles, skin damage, sun spots etc.

Like in a number of other things we should be thankful for the strides that technology has taken in our times. However, apart from that we also need to appreciate what the people behind these anti aging products and brands are doing. No one is claiming that they are doing it just for the love of the people; obviously they earn their profits as well. However, there is no harm in it as long as everyone involved in the equation gets some benefit.

These anti aging products are now available in abundance in the market. In the start there was this idea of one type fits all. This too has changed over time now as the technical people behind these products have been able to make different products that suit different skin types and different conditions. For example there are different products for those who are aiming at slowing down their aging process and then there are those that want to reverse the process.

The best way to get the best results is to pick the right kind of category of the product. For this you first need to make sure that you know exactly what your skin wants and all the technical details that go in it. If you want a cream or lotion you can talk to the experts at the cosmetic stores. Or if you want something more natural with less side-effects you can go here for a natural face lift and not worry about your skin having bad reactions. After you have identified these details you can then make the selection of the proper anti aging product for you that going to make you look all fresh and young with great ease.

Another key suggestion is that you use the anti aging product exactly as given in the instructions and not experiment with it on your own. The experimentation is not going to give you better results. In fact if things go absolutely wrong then there is a chance that there will be some harmful side effects of it.

The HTC Deisre HD

I thought Id write a quick post about my new phone!

As my friends will know I am something of an Android fan, and have been a big fan of the Galaxy Ace over the last year, but I have been told many times that I was backing the wrong horse with the Galaxy and that I should switch to HTC.

Well I resisted that for some time, because, i will admit it… I liked the look of the Galaxy, I think HTC phones are a little clunky by comparison. Another negative is the OS upgrades take longer to come through on account of HTC addint their own software and tweaks on top of the Android OS.

However, I did tire of the Galaxy’s build quality. It was ok, the phone lasted well enough but I always felt it had a light weight cheap feel to it, whearas the HTC models I have looked at feel (at least a lot more sturdy).

So, this time I went for an HTC, I managed to find a great deal on the HTC Desire HD which apparantly is one of the top selling Android phones at the moment.

Its a bit of a chunky monkey, a lot of phone to carry round in your pocket, but it has some great features. The screen is fantastic, touch sensitivity is good, it has good performance and a good processor on board… there is not much you can fault this phone on.

I have yet to watch an HD movie on this yet, I am sure I will at some point… just to see how good it is, though I am somewhat old fashioned in that I like to use my phone to make calls once in a while!

I remembered to turn Geo Tagging off this time too, which caused me some embarrasement last year when I left it on… I wont go into that one!

Anyway, Ill stop my rambling here, im off to HTCSense.com :p

If you want to find a good HTC deal then this is the site I used: mobilephonedeals.info

Super Injuctions And Twitter

It’s been all over the news this week that people are getting more and more angry about celebrities who take out super injunctions to stop people from knowing about a certain part of their private life. Not only do super injunctions stop the press from releasing certain bits of information about a celebrity, but they also prevent eth press from even talking about the injunctions which exist.

The problem is that it isn’t so easy to keep things under wraps today. In the past, if the press didn’t release information then there was no other way to get it out to the public. This obviously isn’t the case with the internet – especially on services such as Twitter. There is one footballer who’s trying to keep his name out of the spotlight because of an affair, but his name has been released on Twitter. He’s suing the service now, which I think was a bad move.

You aren’t going to stop people talking on the internet about you, but people forget about things quickly. If he’s just let the issue rest in a few months no one would be talking about it anymore. Instead, he is taking action against a service that simply can’t be policed in the way that celebrities would like, which is going to keep his name in the spotlight even longer and turn more people against him. I’m sure he probably took this action on advice from his legal team, and I think they gave him so bad advice on this one.

Should people retake driving tests?

It seems to me that a lot of people need to retake their driving test! I’m sure a lot of people would say the same about me of course, but it’s surprising how many drivers don’t seem to know the basics of the highway code. I think that there should be a rule which says we all need to retake our driving test every 10 years. Yes, it would be an annoyance and an extra hassle (not to mention top up driving lessons and the cost of the test would put extra strain on some people’s budgets) but surely it would prevent more accidents.

I think that although young people trained today for driving are prone to make a mistake when they first pass their test it’s difficult to argue that they aren’t trained to a higher level than people in the past. The test is generally a lot harder than it used to be. This means that there are lots of people driving around – especially older people – who either passed an easier test or didn’t pass one at all! That surely can’t be safe for the roads. Sometimes you wonder how someone can legally drive when you see some of the crazy things that goes on during certain times of the day on the roads.

I would hate having to retake my test but if it meant the roads were safer in general for all of us then I’d be willing to do it.

Getting Into House

House M.D. is a TV show I’ve been watching recently. I avoided it for a while – I tend to be a bit late getting to know some of the big shows – mainly because I didn’t understand how a show that seemed to be so repetitive could last for long. I think it’s in its seventh series now – that’s a long time to keep recycling the same formula of a difficult case, House is confused before coming up with a genius plan.

I decided to give the show a go anyway and I’m glad I did. I still do find some parts of it tedious, but on the whole the cases are always interesting. The side plots between the characters also works well – the stories are quite subtle but you end up caring about the characters more than other shows. All of them have good and bad sides to their personality, and there is no definitive good or bad characters.

I’m on series three at the moment and I still have some doubts about how the show can stay interesting for seven series. It’ll be interesting to see what happens – I’m guessing that the characters will start to take over a larger amount of time and the medical cases will be less important.

I hope it can keep up the interesting scripts though, because I’ve really enjoyed it so far and there’s nothing else like it on TV at the moment.
